Projects

1

Farming

To help starving children and families, we initially bought 6 pigs to start a farm. A few months later, there were 72 pigs. This piggery is one example of the small enterprises that give income and food to the people, enabling them to be sustainable and independent.

Agriculture

More than 220 acres were bought and Ugandan men and women were taught to seed and water in order to plant corn, beans and many other different types of food.

Hospitals

Greening San Diego is a project where hospitals donate tools and materials to a health clinic center in Uganda. This hospital provides HIV testing, eye care, and other health care services. We are ready to help up to one million people!

Ssubi Store

The women learned how to sew and began to create womens' bags, wallets, beads, bracelets, necklaces, collars and many other handmade products. Now these women have a new source of income to raise their children. All of their products are now available at our store.

Education

Children attend day school education so that they can have a brighter future and also have time to help at their homes where they are needed. Now they can do both things and continue to grow.
